Sheila Wang

Originally from China, Ms. Wang earned her first law degree and gained admission to practice within the civil law jurisdiction. In China, Ms. Wang specialized in foreign direct investment and civil litigation. She also handled high-stakes cross-border disputes involving outbound investments by Chinese state-owned enterprises.

Drawn by the flexibility and adaptability of the U.S. common law system, where judicial decisions and precedents significantly shape legal interpretations, Ms. Wang relocated to the United States. Prior to joining Bordin Semmer, she refined her skills at a boutique law firm in California. There, she adeptly managed defense matters for a Fortune 500 U.S. corporation in truck accident personal injury cases, and represented small to mid-sized businesses, healthcare facilities, and property owners in various commercial and business litigation matters, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, managed care litigation, and landlord-tenant disputes.
