Litigation Associate

Job Description:

Qualified candidates will have 3-4 years of experience, preferably in high exposure, catastrophic, personal injury cases, including products liability and general negligence.

Responsibilities Include:

• Taking and defending expert and witness depositions
• Drafting original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters
• Drafting discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties
• Developing client relationships through oral and written communication
• Preparation for trial including motions in limine, exhibit lists, witness lists

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of civil litigation experience preferred;
• Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed in California
• Self-motivated individual with high energy willing to do whatever it takes to complete responsibilities on deadline
• Experience in billable work environment
• Experience with legal research
• Experience with independently handling a caseload
• Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
